  1. The Scientific Committee will review all abstracts, and you will be notified by 15 February 2024 whether your abstract has been accepted and assigned for Podium Presentation or Poster Presentation.

  2. The decision of the Scientific Committee is final.

  3. All abstracts accepted will be published in the programme book which will be made available to all conference attendees.

  4. Abstracts must be submitted in English, not exceeding 200 words. The material for presentation should be unpublished and original.

  5. In the abstract submission, kindly denote the presenter using the symbol (#). It is assumed that each abstract corresponds to a single presentation.

  6. It is NOT mandatory to submit a full paper to attend the conference, but authors are encouraged to submit their original and high-quality papers to PROTECT 2024.

  7. Only papers No less than 6 pages as per the template provided will be considered for publication in an indexed proceeding. 6 pages is the minimum, but hopefully 8-10 pages, and additional pages are welcome.

  8. All accepted conference papers will be published by Springer and indexed in Scopus, EI-Compendex and Web of Science. Authors of selected papers will be invited to submit extended manuscripts to Engineering Structures.

  9. Best paper awards await high quality papers.

  10. Best presentation awards will be only awarded to PhD students.

 Please submit full paper to
